Gewerkton Studio

Beta

Plans and models in the browser

Studio opens plan sets in the browser and attaches evidence in the right place. And where no model exists, the site team creates one in the browser and shows what it will become.

AI-generated

Open a plan

The plan set in the browser

A PDF plan set is uploaded and opens in the browser. No extra program and no installation on the site manager's machine.

Rooms and areas

Plan text becomes rooms

Studio reads the labels on the plan and suggests rooms. You confirm or correct them, and from then on evidence hangs in the right place.

From plan to model

Where no model exists, one is created

Draw walls, place doors and windows as openings, add slabs and columns and look at the result in 3D. The model leaves as IFC, and floor plan and section are derived from it as SVG.

Two worlds

Two worlds, one evidence chain

Outside it is dictated, inside it is assigned. Field and Studio work on the same project, not on two copies of it.

01What Studio does today Beta

What Studio does today

Eight functions that run in the browser today. What does not run yet is not listed here either.

Import PDF plans

Upload plan sets as PDF and open them in the browser, with no extra software.

Rooms from plan text

Studio reads the labels on the plan and suggests rooms for you to confirm or correct.

Link areas

Rooms and areas are connected so evidence hangs in the right place.

Speech to defect mapping

A dictated defect is assigned to the room or area it came from.

Save and load a project

The working state is saved and reopened later.

Walls, slabs, columns

Load bearing components are drawn in the browser, with doors and windows sitting in them as openings.

3D preview

The drawn model can be viewed in space right away, with no switch into another program.

IFC export and plan derivation

The model leaves as IFC; floor plan, section and dimension chains are produced from it as SVG.

Studio shows, assigns and hands on, and by now it also draws. What is listed here runs in the browser today; what does not run yet is not listed here either.

02Already built

Already built

These capabilities are built and tested. They have not been in use at a customer yet: 2026 is the beta year, general availability is planned for 2027.

Five ways to a model, none of them CAD Built

Trace it over, scan the old plan, photograph the hand sketch, scan the room with an iPhone, load the surveyor's point cloud. Whatever is recognised automatically arrives on screen as a proposal to check, not as finished truth.

The model draws back Built

Out of what you captured fall the floor plan, the building section, the elevations and the reflected ceiling plan, with dimensions and level marks. The section keeps up live: move a wall, swap a window, and the section follows at once.

Is this a defect at all? Built

The screed deviates over two metres, and the question in the room is always the same: tolerance or defect? Enter the measurement and Studio names the passage in the standard along with it. What comes of that a person decides: the notice, or the reply to one.

Quantities that show their working Built

Window reveals, edge insulation strips, the real roof area instead of the area in the floor plan: Studio counts the items that tend to slip through a take off. Every number carries its calculation, and out of it come numbered measurement sheets with formula lines that an invoice check can recalculate.

The project file belongs to the company Built

Studio runs in the browser, the project sits as a file with the company. There is no cloud obligation: whoever wants to keep their data in their own house keeps it in their own house.

A selection, not a feature list. What stands here exists in the product; what does not stand here is neither promised nor ruled out.

03The path

From viewing to creating

Studio grows in stages, and the first part of modelling is delivered. No stage comes at the cost of what Gewerkton is built for: speech, defects, the site. Detailed and working drawings remain with architect CAD.

TodayDelivered 2026

Consume, coordinate, create

Open plans in the browser, rooms from plan text, assign dictated defects. Plus walls, doors and windows, slabs and columns, the 3D preview, IFC export and the derivation of floor plan, section and dimension chains as SVG.

In progressIn progress 2026/2027

The rest of viewing and drawing

IFC mode with a spatial tree, BCF exchange, plan distribution with revisions, quantities from room polygons and the display of imported clashes. Plus markup on the plan, room polygons, measuring to scale and attributes on components.

ExpansionPer milestone, from 2027

Further full modelling

Terrain models, stairs, rendering up to visualisation and free modelling on the canvas. Every milestone is reassessed before it turns into a commitment.

What stands under Today runs. Everything beyond that is a direction and not a commitment, and it appears here as a function only once it runs.

04Trust register

Trust register

Evidence over rank: every step from the spoken word to approval stays traceable, while a suggestion never takes effect on its own.

FIDICVOBJCTAIAConsensusDocs

FIDIC, AIA, ConsensusDocs, JCT, VOB and custom frameworks are versioned. Chops, hanko, dojang and company stamps are recorded only as technical confirmations, with no claim of special legal effect.

A continuous evidence chain

Conversation, transcript, suggestion and human decision form a continuous chronology that is never silently overwritten.

Fair to both sides

Before evidence protects client and contractor alike. Companies can challenge scorecards; site management records the decision.
