Scope

This policy describes how personal data is processed when you visit gewerkton.com and when you request access to the Gewerkton application.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted in Germany. The hosting provider automatically stores technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in server log files for the purpose of operating and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted according to the provider's retention cycle.

No tracking

This website does not use cookies requiring consent, no analytics services and no advertising trackers.

Local storage of your preferences. This website stores two entries in your browser to remember your own choices: gewerkton:region (the region you selected, in localStorage) and gewerkton:language-hint (records that you dismissed the language suggestion, in sessionStorage). Your browser language and time zone are read locally to preselect a region. None of this data is transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is not used to identify or track you. Storage is strictly necessary for the functionality you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete both entries at any time in your browser settings.

Contact by email

If you contact us at contact@gewerkton.com, the data you provide (email address, name, message content) is processed to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and deleted when no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The Gewerkton application

The Gewerkton product is designed for local, on-premises processing: audio recordings of construction meetings are transcribed on the customer's own systems. Recordings are made only after the documented consent of all participants, in line with Section 201 of the German Criminal Code (StGB). Details are governed by the agreement concluded with each customer.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
