Gewerkton-Konto löschen

Du kannst dein Gewerkton-Konto jederzeit selbst löschen. Das gilt für die Web-App unter dev.gewerkton.com und für die Gewerkton-App für iPhone und Android; beide nutzen dasselbe Konto.

In der App oder der Web-App

  1. App: Einstellungen → Konto → Konto löschen. Web-App: Darstellungsprofil → Konto löschen.
  2. Kennwort eingeben und die Löschung bestätigen.
  3. Dein Konto ist sofort gesperrt: Alle Anmeldungen in Web-App und App enden, deine API-Schlüssel werden widerrufen. Das Datum der Löschung wird dir angezeigt; eine Bestätigung per E-Mail verschicken wir in der Beta noch nicht.
  4. Nach 30 Tagen wird das Konto automatisch gelöscht: Deine Mitgliedschaften enden, Name, E-Mail-Adresse und Anmeldedaten werden entfernt.

Bis dahin kannst du dich anmelden und die Löschung widerrufen; nach dem Anmelden siehst du nur die Frage „Löschung läuft bis … – widerrufen?“. Wer als einziger Owner eine Firma verwaltet, überträgt die Inhaberschaft vorher an eine andere Person oder bittet uns, die Firma stillzulegen.

Alternativ per E-Mail

Schreib von der E-Mail-Adresse deines Kontos an contact@gewerkton.com, Betreff „Konto löschen“. Wir prüfen, dass die Anfrage vom Inhaber des Kontos kommt, und löschen das Konto auf demselben Weg.

Was mit Projektdaten passiert

Mängel, Fotos, Berichte und andere Einträge, die du für eine Organisation in deren Projekten angelegt hast, gehören zur Baudokumentation dieser Organisation und bleiben dort. Als Verfasser steht danach „Gelöschtes Konto“. Dein Name kann dort weiter vorkommen, wo er Teil des Inhalts ist, etwa in einem unterschriebenen Protokoll. Über diese Inhalte entscheidet die Organisation; gesetzliche Aufbewahrungspflichten können gelten.

Beendet eine ganze Organisation die Nutzung, wird ihr Zugang sofort gesperrt, sie kann einen vollständigen Export erhalten, und nach einer vereinbarten Aufbewahrungsfrist (standardmäßig 30 Tage) werden ihre Daten gelöscht.

Nach dem Antrag meldet die App dich ab und entfernt dabei die Baustellendaten von diesem Gerät. Daten auf anderen Geräten entfernst du durch Abmelden oder Deinstallieren der App. Tägliche Datensicherungen auf dem Server werden nach 14 Tagen überschrieben.

Delete your Gewerkton account

You can delete your Gewerkton account yourself at any time. This covers the web app at dev.gewerkton.com and the Gewerkton app for iPhone and Android; both use the same account.

In the app or the web app

  1. App: Settings → Account → Delete account. Web app: Display profile → Delete account.
  2. Enter your password and confirm the deletion.
  3. Your account is locked at once: every sign-in in the web app and the app ends, and your API keys are revoked. You are shown the date of deletion; during the beta we do not send a confirmation email yet.
  4. After 30 days the account is deleted automatically: your memberships end, and your name, email address and sign-in data are removed.

Until then you can sign in and revoke the deletion; after signing in you only see the question “Deletion runs until … – revoke?”. If you are the only owner of a company, first transfer ownership to another person or ask us to shut the company down.

Alternatively by email

Write from the email address of your account to contact@gewerkton.com with the subject “Delete my account”. We check that the request comes from the account holder and delete the account the same way.

What happens to project data

Defects, photos, reports and other entries you created for an organisation in its projects belong to that organisation's construction documentation and stay there. They then show “Deleted account” as the author. Your name can still appear where it is part of the content, for example in a signed protocol. The organisation decides about this content; statutory retention duties may apply.

If a whole organisation stops using Gewerkton, its access is locked at once, it can receive a full export, and its data is deleted after an agreed retention period (30 days by default).

After the request, the app signs you out and removes the site data from this device. To remove data on other devices, sign out or uninstall the app there. Daily server backups are overwritten after 14 days.
